My makeup is a lot like my brain (these days) — one vibrant focal point is my jam.
For today’s look, that focal point is the eyes. After using Danessa Myricks Beauty Prism FX Hydrating Lotion to bring some golden glow to my complexion, and after spot concealing with Glamazon by Kim Baker Second Skin Foundation Stick, here’s the complete rundown of the best makeup face I’ve worn all quarantine:
Eyes:
Glamazon by Kim Baker Eye-Conic Eye Concealer
Juvia’s Place The Berries Eyeshadow Palette
Camara AUnique Beauty Ruth Lash
Glamazon by Kim Baker Lash Couture Lengthening Mascara
Basic Black Liner (lash line & waterline)
Cheeks:
Glamazon by Kim Baker Blushing Trio in Coral Glow (peach on cheeks and bronze to contour)
Danessa Myricks Beauty Evolution Powder
Lips:

Face:
I started with Danessa Myricks Prism FX Hydrating Lotion in Peach. In addition to providing hydration and a nice glow, the peach shade also gives a little color correcting. My next step was Danessa Myricks Vision Cream Cover in Shade W05, then used W04 for a highlight and lift. The W05 acts as a concealer. It's very pigmented; you only need a tiny drop. (Code FACEFLAWLESS Saves 20% off all Danessa Myricks products.)
I set with shade 01 of Danessa Myricks Evolution Powder. I applied a tiny bit to take down the shine around my nose and over my brow bone.
Eyes:
Since masks are the order of the day, eyes continue to be a focal point for most makeup looks I do. I absolutely love The Berries Eyeshadow Palette by Juvia's Place. I wanted to create something bold (or at least bold for me 😆.) I used three colors from the palette then highlighted my inner eye area using my favorite Pat McGrath Palette, Mothership. I darkened my lash line with a black CoverGirl liner.
Cheeks:
I used a bold pink shade from the Juvia's Palette to bring color to my cheeks. Eyeshadows are generally more pigmented than blush, so keep that in mind if you plan to do the same. I highlighted with two shades from the Danessa Myricks Lightwork Palette. I am completely in love with this palette, and I use it just about every time I do my makeup.
Brows:
At the time of the recording didn't have a Black-owned brow product, but I have since gotten the Lamik Beauty Celebrity Brow Kit. The mirrored kit compact includes brow powder or pomade, sculpting cream, and dual-ended brush. I use the dark brown Brow Powder and the Sculpting Cream in the shade Excellence.
Lips:
I think I changed my lip three or four times during the video.
Here's what I featured:
The Lip Bar (Use Code FACEFLAWLESS for 20% off)
Fenty Beauty - Mattemoiselle
Gold Label Cosmetics - First Class
Danessa Myricks Color Fix - Crystal
Shoutout to Mented Cosmetics. I just got "Pink About Me" from Target.
Lashes:
This is where I cheated. I used Ardell Wispies with Duo Lash Glue. But here are some Black-owned brands that offer lashes.
Camara Aunique - Use Code FACEFLAWLESS for 10% off site wide.
Oh, and by the way, some Danessa Myricks products are now available at sephora.com and will soon be available in the store! I really do love Danessa and her brand. I'm so happy more people will get to experience the beauty and brilliance of her products.

Other Black-owned Makeup Brands We Love
AJ Crimsom — I remember using the Artist Kit Palette for a while loved it! Crimson Rose is also a fantastic Matte Red Lipstic with a blue-red base.
Pat Mcgrath — The Mothership V Shadow palette is still my favorite.
LYS Beauty — New Vegan brand that recently launched at Sephora. The Higher Standard Satin Matte Cream Blushes are fantastic.
